The weather today may have got the party squad a bit gloomy but it didn’t last long after testing out some new beauty products we are glowing, quite literally.
Soap and Glory’s Solar Powder (£12) is a two-tone bronzer allowing you to match your skin type with a sweep of the brush. The lighter shade offers a subtle sunkissed look for every day use and the darker tone is richer, a more dramatic colour perfect for a night out on the town.
If you require something more dramatic then Glow Getter face and body spray (£10) will leave you with a “I’ve-just-got-back-from-Barbabos” body glow.
For those fake tan fearers out there this product will turn you a gorgeous brown, no orange streaks in sight and if you make a mistake you can just wash it off.
The spray nozzle gives an even coverage and you don’t need a degree in spray tanning to get a gorgeous body glow.
A little geeky I know but both products came in cute packaging with 1950′s retro images. We felt we were using luxury products without the hefty high-end price tag. Always a bonus!

Celebrities get it easy don’t they? What with their hairdressers, beauty therapists and make-up artists on call to preen and pamper them to perfection.
It is much harder for us mere mortals, but that doesn’t mean we can’t achieve their look.
Vaishaly Patel, superfacialist to the most high profiled of celebs, has formulated a fabulous skin care range that will leave your skin looking picture perfect.
